About The Coach
My Story
For most of my life, I struggled. On the surface, I looked like I was functioning. I worked, I studied, and I tried to build a stable life, but the outcome never matched the effort. I spent years trying to do what I thought was expected of me. I tried to look like everyone else, act like them, work like them. I masked pretty well. But underneath that mask was a constant sense that things were harder than they should be. Everything felt too bright, too loud, and overwhelming. Tasks, activities, and even relationships that seemed manageable for other people could leave me exhausted, stuck, overloaded, and feeling like I had failed.
Making Sense of the Struggle
In 2023, I went through a series of therapy sessions where something important became clear. Many of the struggles I had experienced throughout my life were rooted in living with undiagnosed and unsupported AuDHD. That realisation eventually led me to seek a formal diagnosis in January 2024, at the age of 40. Looking back, a lot of things suddenly began to make sense.
What Changed
Learning about AuDHD did not fix everything, but it did change something fundamental for me. I began to understand why I had always found certain things difficult, why trying to do things the way other people do them often led to burnout, and why pushing harder frequently made things worse rather than better. Most importantly, I began to develop a different way of working with myself. Instead of forcing myself into systems that did not fit, I started building approaches that were more aligned with how my brain and nervous system actually work.
What I’ve Learned
One of the biggest shifts for me was moving away from the belief that I simply needed to try harder, and towards asking what was actually going on beneath the surface. That change in perspective reduced a huge amount of self-blame and created space for something far more useful: knowledge.
Over time, I have developed a growing awareness of how energy, attention, and environment interact, how overwhelm and shutdown patterns form, and how to approach tasks in ways that feel more sustainable. This knowledge has given me a better sense of self-compassion and self-understanding.
Why I Do This Work
At some point, it stopped feeling enough to just understand these things for myself. I know what it is like to not have the words for your experiences, and I know what it is like to feel disorientated, stuck, and constantly behind. I also know how much things can begin to shift when they finally start to make sense. That is why I chose to turn what I have learned into coaching. Not because I think I can fix people, and not because I have everything figured out, but because I know first hand that having a language for your experiences, a clearer way of understanding what has been happening, and practical ways to move forward can genuinely change how you relate to yourself and your life. That sense of understanding, self-compassion, and practical support is exactly what I hope to share through my coaching.
If You’re Seeing Yourself in This
If you have spent a long time feeling like things do not quite make sense, or like you are working harder than you should just to keep up, you are not alone.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out for coaching. Sometimes the first step is simply recognising that you would benefit from a space to explore and make sense of what has been happening.
My coaching is designed to help you understand your needs more clearly, communicate them more openly, and build a way of living that feels more sustainable, compassionate, and realistic.
